| Well, we made it through the Fine Line show.
It was an interesting ride, but we made it though. We really appreciate the 18 people that
came down and turned in tickets for us. We know it was late (the luck of the draw), and we're
thankful that someone showed up!
The band would like to thank Erik "The Voice" Olsen for stepping up to the plate and playing
bass for us. It was a lot of work for him to learn all our songs in a few weeks, but he did
a great job! Anyone that wants to know where he got his nickname should check him out with
his real band, Blu Iris. (Hint: If you never
got a chance to see the original Led Zeppelin, see these guys!)
As for Confined, we are starting the process of recording, so our show schedule will be pretty
light for a while, but we will send Email to everyone on the Mailing List
as things come up.

| March 29th at The Fine Line. How's that
to start 2004?! I gotta tell ya, when we got the call for that one, it just lit
us all up. Everyone seems excited for this show, and I got to say it's about
time!
December seems like a lifetime ago. Some changes have been made and Brent has
pursued a different musical path and we do wish him well, and Joe is doing the
cover band thing and they kick major ass I've been told. I can't wait to see
them. Professionally, everyone has gotten so busy that we kinda just put
"Confined" on hold, but this show chnged that. We are gonna rock this place as
if it's our last show!!! It might be! But the talent when we are together keeps
us going. I only hope the guys feel the same. This show for us is BIG at one of
the premier clubs in town.
Whatever happens, it's been an honor to make music with everyone who was once
involved in this project, but take it from the one guy who's been there from
day one ... WE AIN'T DONE!!

| Happy New Year to everyone!!! I speak for
the whole band when I say we hope your holiday season has been full of
joy, happiness, and celebration. We miss it, and we are ready for one hell of a
new year!! We haven't been real active but that was our intention. We needed
the break because all the other things that take up our time needed some
attention and we had just went through a learning curve as a band and now with
a new year we can fine tune the machine. CONFINED in 2004 will be a much
improved band. I want to thank the people who have come into contact with us in
the last month or so and asked whats going on. I know I am ready and by talking
to the guys over the last few days I think they are ready too. For some reason
when we get together it just kinda happens. Its a hidden magic that only we
have. We do bring the best out of each other.
I can't wait to get the ball rolling again but it would't seem right if I
didn't take a minute to thank the guys from the bottom of my heart. You
commitment to this band has been probably some of the highlights and at times
frustrating but we did everything we set out to do. From doing the demo in
March, our final line-up change, opening night Doc's, and we did it all on our
terms. We played our music first and didn't settle for compromising the
integrety that we are a original band. That was what we set out to do and we
did that. We learned alot about playing live in diffeent settings in some of
the most kick ass club in this city. We had a great year!! The best part is
people really do enjoy our music. Those memories I will treasure forever.
Thanks so much again!!
2004 Whats new for the band? Those questions will be answered one day at a
time. I know we are fresh, and eager as a band to get back after it. I know
that we want to write some new music. I know that we want to do a full length
record. And I know that we want to perform live. Bigger shows with some new
clubs and revisiting the old ones. Who knows maybe next year we will host one
of the best New Years Eve party in town. -- Jason |

| The band has taken some time off since
our last show at the Red Sea Bar. A lot of things went right that night, but
quite a few went wrong. We won't even mention the f$%^king meter maids with
nothing to do at midnight but ticket everyone's vehicles in the club's loading
zone. Talk about losing money at a show! We are planning on sitting down the beginning of the year and determining where we go from here. One member has already announced that he is quiting the band, and we are not sure what is happening with the rest of us. Time will tell. Have a great holiday season, and we'll keep you posted on our happenings. -- Joe |

| Well, the band took a couple of weeks off
while Steve and his wife went scuba diving in another part of the world. We got
together twice in two weeks and wrote a little. I think we got the beginnings
of a pretty good groove worked up. We will try and debut that number at the
Uptown or the Urban Wildlife clib. Even though the band has been up tp
nothing, we have some very exciting news. We have two songs on the Internet
charts that are climbing and hopefully by tomorrow "Innocent" will break the
top 100. Everyone in the band thought that "Missing You Tonight" was our
strongest song. That just goes to show you what the band knows! Our best
material has yet to be put on tape. To all our fans out there in the metro
area, we got a very big gig this Thursday night at "The Rock" in Maplewood.
It's the biggest stage on the St. Paul side of town with a state of the art
sound and lighting system. Please come out for this show. We only play for 1
hour, and we're gonna deliver a hell of a show. Clubs want to see people, so
bring a friend and have a beer and we'll make it as exciting as possible! I
truly believe we are on to something way bigger and better, but we need to make
some kind of bang so the club owners in this town will notice. Just wait until
this band gets a prime Saturday night slot in a prime club in this town. But,
it's a painful process to the top. Sorry for the gap between updates, but we;re getting ready to kick it in the ass so jump on board with us and let's have some fucking fun! It's our turn. -- Jason |

| Wow r we rock stars or what!!! The show
in Welcome was GREAT!! Every one had a fuckin-blast and a special thanks goes
out to Garth and the staff at the club. A class act. We would love to come
back. Now its back to business as for the biggest mountain yet is right ahead
of us in 20 days. The ROCK night club in Maplewood on Nov 13th. By far the
biggest show we could possibly have we want to lay a couple new tunes out and
get a reaction. The BAND is so flattered by the response we r getting from our
audience on our original material that we can't wait to write more. Another
show has been added for Dec. 1 at the RED SEA in Minneapolis. We will be
posting a memo on the mailing list on how to get tickets for that show soon. I
think that we need to bring the crowd from Welcome to Minneapolis the place
would never be the same.We got some other things cooking that we can't really
talk about but as soon as we can we will. It will be huge! We need to do a full
length record so bad! Soon!! Well thats it for now. Later'

| The Doc's show is just two days away. Wow
is all I can say! After tonight, we hope to bring a wide variety of tunes to
the show, along with carefully placing our original material to make it a
special night. This band was never going to pursue the "cover band scene", but
we wanted to be able to play any club, any time. It seems like a lot of things
are happening right now.
Everybody seems tense, but yet content. We have worked our asses off for this.
Now we just keep getting better and better. The creative process for new
material is starting to flow. One of the guys in the band, who shall remain
nameless, penned the lyrics to a very magical song, and it will be huge.
Another wrote the music before he even seen the song. I guess the "song writing
soulmates" are at it again. A lot of inspirations lately to influence good
material at a bad time.
New bookings today reflect that our momentum is going to change. These dates
are confirmed.
Nov. 13 - The Rock in maplewood - 93X Nite Nov. 18 - The Uptown Bar in minneapolis TBA - The Turf Club in St. Paul It seems that persistance and our hard work are finally starting to pay off. We really need to get out and touch our audience once again. After all, YOU are the reason we do this! -- Jason |

| As we get closer to our series of shows, the tensions are getting stronger. We have been spending a lot of time together and we all have a lot of other things going on as well. Sometimes we work better under pressure. I guess we'll find out at Doc's on the 15th! |

| As we keep progressing towards our first
full-night show at Doc's, things seems to be moving slowly (at least for me).
But, I am the anxious one. I have all the confidence that it will go ok, but
just as normal, we won't know until the night before the show.
We got a real cool high-profile show comming October 18th at Southside Music
Cafe in Burnsville. It is a Saturday afternoon show, from 4:30 - 6pm. A 90
minute, wide open set. However, it is one of those gigs that the club wants to
know which band you are coming to see (so they know who to invite back!). Joe
is working on a real cool electronic invitation that you can print out to show
them at the door. If you plan on attending just one of the four upcoming shows,
this show is very important for us. Even though the other guys feel the October
15th show at Doc's is really important too (and could really seal our fate
since we're playing that night for one of the top agents in the cities), we
would really like to blow the roof off at the Burnsville show.
We ask you again to bring a friend and turn them on to this new band. By the
way, if you have any special request for songs you'd like to hear, please email
Jason at twister3v@yahoo.com,
or send it to our Feedback Section on this
site. We will do our best to do it for you at a show. Our set list covers a
real wide variety, so let us know. Without you people to play for, we would
have no reason to leave our practice space.
We have been in touch with Oar Fin records and they are interested in working
on our full length CD. Hopefully our schedules will allow us to have something
out by the end of the year. Even though we haven't done much of it as a band,
lately our original music is our priority and Joe has material, Steve, Jaon,
Lee and Brent all have stuff waiting to surface from the sound of it. It shows
a lot of talent in this band.
Soon we will see you all again and everyone in the band needs that. Just a
couple more weeks to go! I can't fuckin wait. Playing live is the real deal, so
until next week .... -- Jason |
| Tuesday, September 2, 2003 |
| Well, the band took two weeks off, for the last fucking holiday for a while (I hope!). But things never cease to amaze me when it comes to this band. Went down south and we will soon be announcing a date in Welcome, MN. at Mr. G's. Look out! Lee and Jason returning to their hometown for a very unpredictable adventure. More booking agents are really looking into this band and are just trying to find a slot for us. We are trying so hard, and we are so close. For those of you who wonder what's going on, please just hang in there. It's right around the corner. A lot of people have been hitting this web site, so we are very anxious to play again. It's starting to make us very tense at practice. Joe went out and bought the band traveling van. We are getting ready to hit the road. At least Joe see's what the future holds. (yeah ... a lot of repair bills! jpl) By the way, if you're ever invited to a keg party when this band is going to be in attendance, don't miss it! Jaggermeister is the Devil, but to women ... who knows! We need a video camera :) It's bazarre! See you next week! |

| It looks like our 30 day reconsideration plan worked. Lee is back with the band. Although he would only commit to another 9 months (what's he pregnant??), we think things will work out. I think we can score this as another victory over those Canadians :) (Sorry Juanita!) In the interests of keeping him around, I would like to start a campaign to liberate the poor Canadian woman he was going to follow. I say let's remove her from the oppressed life of Canada, and bring her down here! I'm not saying this just because this will keep the band running smoothly, it's because I really care about the poor oppressed citizens of Canada (anyone buying this bullshit?? ... Didn't think so.) Moving right along (before I wind up on Canada's most wanted list ...), there is some more good news to report. We have two more shows that we will announce tomorrow on the Upcoming Shows page. We just have to get the times nailed down. One will be on Thursday, August 28th at The Rhythm Room in NE Minneapolis. The other will be back at Doc's Landing in October. Check back later in the week! |

| Well, another big blow for the band. Lee
announced that he was leaving the band. He has fallen in love with a woman from
Canada (those darn Canadians!), and they are gonna make a go of it. Everybody
was stunned by his announcement, especially Jason who for 20 years waited for
the opportunity to play in a band with his best friend....the song-writting
soul-mates. "I will miss him so much, but I won't let this bring us down", said
Jason. Something special is going to happen with this band, and we must go on. We have given him 30 days to reconsider, so let's hope he does! No one can replace him, and we have decided not to pursue another guitar player for now. On the upside, we got another tune down, and this one is a cover! So, Yes, we can do those too!! We are working on a remake of a kick-ass tune that will blow everybody's mind once they hear it! Until next Sunday ... |

| Based on our last show, we have been
contacted by some people about a very exciting
project. It is a bit premature to share too many of the details yet, but let's
just say we'll want as many of our fans as possible to join us in having a
great time, and sharing in making a bit of history. Stay tuned for details! We
will send an anouncement out to the mailing list as soon as we are able to. We are also working on booking several more shows, but do not have all the dates finalized yet. |

| Thanks to all those who attended the last
show. We would also like to thank Jeff from ARM, as well as Existence for
having us on. The band took a whole week off and just chatted with each other over the phone, which is something this band doesn't do. We have heard talk of us doing a showcase of our own in the near future. We did well at the last show, now we have to make sure we can top it! Sunday was our first day back to work, and we worked on a couple of new tunes that we will unveil at the next show. Monday was back to hard work (no rest for the weary in this band!). Let's try to double the mailing list.... Tell a friend about the site! |
